DESCRIPTION:This talk addresses “Multispecies Justice and the City” from the perspective of the rapidly growing field of multispecies justice which challenges hierarchical and anthropocentric understandings of justice.\nUrsula Heise teaches in the Department of English and at the Institute of the Environment and Sustainability at the University of California, Los Angeles, where she holds the Marcia H. Howard Chair of Literary Studies.
